Seen here is a near mint Edison Standard D with ICS repeater attachment.

The attachment is used to repeat approximately 5 seconds of the recording. This was primarily used for learning languages. ICS offered recorded language lessons as well as earlier companies such as Dr. Rosenthal.

This machine was our first cylinder player.
